Dr. Betta Edu Impresses Netherlands With President Tinubu’s Humanitarian Vision – Nigeria Envoy, Ajayi.

The Nigerian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Netherlands, Dr. Eniola Ajayi, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for appointing competent and visionary professionals who are committed to the Renewed Hope agenda of alleviating poverty and addressing humanitarian challenges in Nigeria and Africa.

Dr. Ajayi made this remark when she hosted the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Betta Edu, and her delegation at the Nigeria House in the Hague.

The Envoy said the Minister’s presentation at the ‘Rabat Process Thematic Meeting’ on Migration, Youth, and Development was a clear demonstration of her expertise and passion for her portfolio.

Ambassador Eniola said Edu, spoke eloquently of President Tinubu’s policy framework on reducing humanitarian crises and multi-dimensional poverty in Nigeria and his efforts to tackle the root causes of illegal migration among the youths.

She said, “The government and people of Netherlands have confided in me how impressed they were with the Minister’s performance. She addressed all the issues raised with clarity and confidence. They were amazed by the giant strides and road map of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration to create employment opportunities for youths in all parts of the country.

“That is the Netherlands for you, they are honest and straightforward. They will spread the message as they see it, and in this case, they have told me how impressed they were with the Nigerian government over President Tinubu and Dr Edu’s efforts to curb illegal migration and reduce humanitarian and poverty crises in Nigeria.

“The Minister was smart and quick in understanding and articulating Nigeria’s position and explaining all the achievements and plans of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

“I have no doubt that Nigeria will benefit from the Rabat Process Meeting, that I have seen already”

In her response, Dr Edu thanked the Ambassador and her team for the warm reception accorded to her and her delegation upon their arrival at Amsterdam and Hague, saying the Renewed Hope Hospitality was exceptional.

She commended the Ambassador’s discipline and adherence to due process as the image maker of Nigeria in the kingdom of Netherlands.

The Minister’s delegation included the Honourable National Commissioner, National Commission for Refugees Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons, Hon.Aliyu Ahmed Tijani, Ambassador Catherine Udida, Mr. Valentine Ezulu, Abubakar Suleiman, and other top government officials.
